Swimwear inspiration

Hullo honeys! 

So winter break's over for us Southern Finns, now my holiday waiting comb counts the days until easter! My week went well, I was working as a 'tutor' at a confirmation camp with a bunch of such a lovely people! What did you do? Or is your holiday now or later? This week was back to school for us, studying felt really tirening after the break, but otherwise it's gone well with kickboxing, coaching skaters, poledancing, friends and grandparents.

 It's not that long until summer anymore, so it's time to get ready for bikini season! Nope, I'm not here to suggest any fitness tips for getting the perfect bikini body, but I'm here to try to find the perfect bikini for the perfect body - which is the one you happen to have!  Most of these are just gorgeous fashion pieces that are here just for inspiration (and are on the dreamlist -someday!) , but the triangl one is actually on my hsopping list, I just can't decide the color. Any suggestions?

Moikka muruset!

Talviloma ohi meillä eteläsuomalaisilla, seuraava rasti matkakammalla on pääsiäinen! Lomaviikkoni meni tosi hyvin, olin isosena riparilla mahtavan porukan kanssa! Mitäs teiän lomaan kuului? Vai vieläkö se on edessä? Tällä viikolla palattiinkin jo takaisin koulun penkille, mikä tuntui tosi väsyttävältä tauon jälkeen, mutta muutoin meni hyvin potkunyrkkeillessä, tankotanssiessa, luistelukoulua valmentaessa ja kaverien ja isovanhempien kanssa aikaa viettäen.

Kesään ei oo enää pitkä aika, joten on aika valmistautua bikinikauteen! Ehei, en aio jaella fitness ohjeita bikinivartalon saavuttamiseksi, vaan aion löytää ne täydelliset bikint sille täydelliselle bikinikropalle - joka on juuri se mikä sinulla on! Suurin osa näistä on lähinnä vain upeita muoiluomuksia inspiraatioksi ( ja tietysti kuuluu unelmalistalle-jokupäivä löytyy vielä kaapista!), mutta nuo Trianglin bikinit on ihan oikeastikin ostoslistalla, en vaan osaa valita väriä. Löytyykö ehotuksia?

Happy Valentines day!

Valentines day is Ystävänpäivä in Finnish, which means 'Friend's day' when you translate it. The original Valentines day is due to either Greek antique or a saint called Valentinus, but it came to Finland in the 80's as friends day. In every other country - as far as I know - Valentines Day is a celebration of love and especially your 'significant other', but in Finland we give cards and small presents to our friends and family instead. Some years ago, before TV and american movies were everywhere -gosh I feel so old when I say stuff like this !- giving V-day cards to your better half might have even been considered strange. What I'm trying to say here, is that I've grown to celebrate February 14th as a celebration of friendship, which has done it one of my favorite annual celebrations. It's the day when we do something fun together with friends, say out loud how much they mean to us and even get cute heartful cards from our grumpy dads. 

That way I don't even feel bad at all to celebrate it as a single! If I wasn't single, I'd maybe have to decide who to spend it with -no offense my future love, I would propably still choose my friends ;* - and the whole meaning of the day might change for me too. I love crying over romantic comedies and eating tons of Fazer's Blue -chocolate with the people dearest to me. You know, after all,boyfriends/girlfriends  might turn into friends or just exes, but your friends and your family are the people who will be there for you through those break ups and through everything, good and bad. Friends make this world a better place - no, they make this world worth living. So I'm singing my ode to friendship trough some of my favorite pictures with my friends through out the years;

Hyvää ystävänpäivää!

Kirjottelin tuossa ylhäällä englanniksi siitä, miten on hassua että 14.2 on suomeksi juuri 'ystävänpäivä' , kun useimmiten se on nimeltään 'Valentines Day' tai jokin vastaava, ystävät mainitsematta jättävä termi. Miten ihanaa on että meillä se on ystävänpäivä eikä mikään seurusteleva pariskuntia suosiva kaupallistettu pinkkipäivä! Älkää ymmärtäkö väärin, kivahan oisi käpertyä oman kullan kainaloon ja vaikkei itselläni sitä olekkaan niin en ole silti täysin katkeroitunut, vaan aidosti iloinen noitten kaikkien ah-niin-suloisten parien puolesta! Ja pinkki on lempivärini niin en pistä pahakseni että sitä ja sydämiä vilkkuu joka nurkassa - ja lisäksi se on lisä syy halauksille! Mutta pointtini siis on, että itse kun olen kasvanut siinä uskossa että ystävänpäivä on nimenomaan ystävien juhlimista, ei mitkään jenkki elokuvat tai muut tule sitä minulta viemään. Nenäliinat + romanttiset komediat ja fazerin sinisen tyhjät käärepaperit parhaitten kavereitten seurassa kunniaan! Sellainen sen ystävänpäivän omasta mielestäni kuuluu olla. Joten laulan oodin ystävyydelle näitten vuosien varrella otettujen lempparikaverikuvieni kautta;
